For those unaware of how good a season JA is having, here is JA's season stats compared to Embiid's season stats:

Some of the numbers are mind-boggling.

He truly is one of the best players in the NBA when it comes to impacting the game in a limited role.

Great on him for thriving in that role, and great on the Cavs for recognizing where he excels and keeping his job focused precisely on those things.

And to think some thought $100 million for 5 years was an overpay and we should have kept and started IH instead.
There sure are some people high on themselves after the off-season discussion. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.

While some other people were stubborn as hell in clinging to the wrong side of the argument.

Stolen from somewhere else

Jarrett Allen is on pace to have the highest volume 70% FG season in NBA history

Jarrett Allen is currently averaging 17.1 ppg on 70.2% shooting from the field, which would pass Wilt’s record of 13.2 ppg. Rudy Gobert is also on pace to pass Wilt this season with 15.5 ppg on 70.6% shooting.
Here are all the seasons of such efficiency:
  1. Wilt Chamberlain (13.2 ppg)
  2. DeAndre Jordan (12.7 ppg)
  3. DeAndre Jordan (12.7 ppg)
  4. DeAndre Jordan (11.5 ppg)
  5. Mitchell Robinson (9.7 ppg)

Don't disagree, but he must have been hurt or just lost his will. He was not on his game in the last 20 games.

Also, Hartenstein is playing really well. He is one of the best backup Cs in the league.

Really wish we had kept Hartenstein, especially as cheaply as he ended up signing for. We badly needed a real center when Allen was out, and we will likely need one again before the year is out.

Yeah me too. I don't like Mobley starting at C.

I do really wonder what it was. He turned down more money to play behind Zubac? Did he not get along with the team? Did JB not trust him?

They had his bird rights, so if he was going to be a backup, why didn't he say "well shame on me, but can I get what I turned down?" or whatever. I just don't really get it. I can understand fans thinking having 2 other 7 footers has you covered at C, but Lauri can't play C and Mobley is not strong enough yet.

Allen's passing just continues to impress me. He just was not seeing his teammates well just last year, and now he is setting guys up and some of his passes are high difficulty. Just a smart player. He will do what he need to

Can’t believe the Nets wanted James Harden over this guy…..

Idiots

Last night Allen entered the game in the 4th quarter with 6:58 left and the Cavs up by 4 points. In the next 2.5 minutes Allen had three defensive rebounds, two offensive rebounds, scored two points, and the Cavs were up by 11. He really came in and made an immediate impact.

I feel like Allen does not get the “credit” that Mobley and garland do sometimes.
How we got allen out of Brooklyn is still a mystery to me

He took over the game and Garland finished them off. That steal and bucket late were awesome. Darius just decided he was ripping that ball away. The ability and drive to plant a stake in the opponent’s heart late is a key ingredient we’ll need in the playoffs.
