Here's a thought I forgot about, Jarrett Allen does have some playoff experience. Now he's only been part of 1 win in two series, but Brooklyn was the heavy underdog in both.

Allen's second year playoff numbers vs Philly:
11.0 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 2.2 apg, 0.6 bpg, 0.6 spg, 59.4% from the field, 85% from the free throw line (17-20), 22 minutes per game.

Allen's third year playoff numbers vs Toronto:
10.3 ppg, 14.8 rpg, 2.3 apg, 1.8 bpg, 0.5 spg, 58.3% from the field, 81% from the free throw line (13-16), 33 minutes per game.

His game translates and he has improved since then.

The most impressive part of his game, is his passing.

If you had told me any of the other stuff, it would have made sense. Great fg%, blocks, defense, dunks whatever. The passing I didn't think he had in him, and I thought it limited his ceiling.

He's been really great and he has some vision.

He looked scared of dribble handoffs when he showed up and he turned them over a lot last year.

He's a much better offensive player than I thought and he see the court better than I thought.

Jarrett is playing at a high level right now.

Oh and the assist he gave to Isaac that easy dunk where he was under the backboard. That's good leadership.

I really liked Allen last year, but man he grew up fast and he has really slid right into this leadership role.

When JA came back into the game in the 2nd qtr he was on a mission, he completely took over the game in a 4-5 minute stretch. Agressive JA can totally dominate a game and is a top Center in the league, should be an automatic Allstar this year.

Whenever Jarrett Allen gets assertive offensively, it's a fun time. Like those shots from the top of the key or the elbow, the spin moves that seem almost from a different era when he does them. That's when you know, "oh yeah, this is why he's special".

That uniform and hair....takes me back to the 70s when I was in my single digits man.

I had bellbottoms, black platform shoes and long hair back then. Ivory thunderbird necklace. Silk shirts. 1962 Mercury Comet. Concerts at the Coliseum. The Big Apple discotheque in Cuyahoga Falls. Drive-in theaters. 3.2% beer. Local bands that could actually play their instruments. Slim chicks. Sloe gin fizz. Waterbed.

He had 3 assists in a row when they started blitzing Garland, two to Okoro and one to Laurie. Maybe some of Mobley's teachings

Devastating emphatic block that took what little life the Rockets had from them. This is a fun team to watch. Last year, the Cavs started out like this, but fizzled after just a week or two. Hopefully it's sustainable this year.

Since were through a third of the season and the Cavs have played the toughest schedule in the league I’d say as long as Garland and Allen and Mobley stay generally healthy we will be just fine.

I think we are at the 2nd toughest now after some easy games recently.
