Game Thread | 2021-2022 Season | Game #46 | Cavs @ Bulls | Jan. 19, 2022 | 8:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Good game.

Honestly, the way Lauri was playing he should’ve played like 38 minutes tonight. He was the hot hand.

Start Windler.

Okoro did have some nice defensive stops. He’s just completely shook offensively.

JA was off. Vuc big body was banging on him.

Mobley was getting off. He will be a go to scorer in this league.

DG still had a double/double. He needs a partner that can play a Rubio style and DG can go off ball as well. He still needs to get stronger.

Cedi was booty.

JBB = Thibs 2.0. Please don’t run these players into the ground playing them whole quarters without rest. These dudes ain’t there yet. This still regular season with the playoffs in sight. They will be dead legged.

Onto the next game!

I have had enough of Cedi. And Love apparently...if he continues to play like he doesn't care again and just jack up shots.

You trade Cedi+something for Hart and you insert Windler in his place. You start running some plays for Windler off screens and off movement and see how it goes. Currently he is playing with Goodwin way too much and mostly stands in the corners.

Are you not rooting for DeRozan going forward because he had a scintillating game this evening ? He’s a big mental health advocate

DeRozan seems like a great dude, but as a player, I can't stand him...zero respect for guys who light it up in the regular season on a yearly basis yet wilt in the playoffs.

His mental health advocacy is admirable and underlines what I said about him personally, but it doesn't effect my opinion of him as a player.

You still dont leave 44% shooters who have made that shot all night open. You make DeRozan earn it, pound his chest,

They should have been playing 10feet under on DeRozan the entire 4th quarter. Force him to step into a 22 footer. If he makes 6 of them tip your hat.
Oddly enough he was 6-12 outside of the paint. We either weren't quick enough to stop him from getting to the rim or we weren't able to contest him due to height or close out speed (depending on player). He just had a night. I have said many times the length of the Bulls bothers me. Luckily, we wouldn't see them until the 2nd round (unless we fall off the map.

Our on court communication was severely lacking, rotations looked slow, hustle wasnt there & they made drive & kick 3 pointers. Every time we tried to go on a run they always had an answer, we would have a poor timed turnover or miss a wide open shot.

Its a loss.

Still better than James Harden…. I’ll take DeRozan every day…

This loss doesn’t move my needle

Something tells me he turns that around with the Bulls, idk, just me I guess. But he looks like a different player compared to Toronto, and San Antonio.

Im actually not impressed with the Bulls at all and think theyre going down in round 2. Round 1 if its vs us.

I mean if we're the 6th seed and they're the 3rd seed, that's round 1.

That's like .5 game from being the case.

It’s true. His offensive game is not there and man you’d be crazy to think it’s gonna click to the level that we need it to be.
I'm willing to let him fully develop. There's way too much untapped potential there.

If I'm blown away, I'll trade him. But I don't think teams will line up blowing us away.

Can't offer Okoro for guys like Hield, Barnes, and Caris

This is why I wish Bill Simmons would just shut the fuck up and let us enjoy our season. A couple tweets and our winning streak goes up in flames.

Mobley has got to put up more than 5 rebounds a night. Really really really needs to be emphasized to him. He has been in a rebounding slumpm ever since his offensive production went up. Id rather him rebound. The offense will come eventually.

Hate all you want about scheme…. Fact is Allen & Mobley played soft inside against a skilled big man…

Until Mobley takes those 5 worthless ‘fall to me’ rebounds a night and turns them into 12-14 ‘I’m beginning to rebound like a 7ft star big man’— the team will have to find other ways to win…
