Game Thread | 2021-2022 Season | Game #70 | Nuggets @ Cavs | March 18, 2022 | 7:30 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
LeVert -17. Goodwin -17 (in 5 fucking minutes. We lost by 17 in his FIVE minutes on the court. Jesus) . Love -16.. Windler -11.

Listen, Cedi certainly has his warts. But he has been a guy that has at least consistently TRIED to create good shots offensively for the 2nd unit.

Our bench is outscored 26-8 tonight. 26-8.

Our bench has taken 11 shots. 2-11.

Benching Osman just puts MORE pressure on LeVert to somehow carry the 2nd unit, which if it happens is going to come on an array of mid rangers. But why not just triple team LeVert because nobody else can do shit on the 2nd unit? Windler has 2 pts. 0 rebs. 0 assists.

Benching Osman is just honestly fucking stupid for a team this devoid of talent and playmaking... the defense hasnt gotten any fucking better. Maybe JBB should look in the mirror on why our defense is so pitiful now.

Why would you bother to guard our bench? Keep one guy in Loves face. Shade 2 toward LeVert. Leave Goodwin wide open. Ignore Brown. Ignore Windler.

We dont have the coaching and we dont have the players.

Okoro and Stevens are 2-8. Throw in Mobley and we're at 5-18.

Now we will have to battle hard to maybe get back in it late, if we're lucky, and then watch us fade again late. And thats if we are fortunate and dont just get blown off the floor.
Great post. It's just incredible that JBB is now flat out refusing to play Osman. On a night where nobody except Markkanen can hit a fucking shot. Wake up.

JBB overplayed the bench at the worst possible time. He does it again and again.

This is going to get some eye rolls but tanking enough to keep our pick... might be the best thing for the franchise...

Part of me Cavs should have just coughed up the first for Eric Gordon but the other part of me is happy we can probably trade LeVert again for a similar return if need be. Maybe not a first and a good 2nd but probably a first.

They can't miss the play-in at this point.

So what are they supposed to do? Purposefully lose the play-in game?

He's a slashing guard with absolutely no room to operate. He's going to have a bad time. The Cavs don't just have a bunch of bad or mediocre shooters getting rotation minutes, but complete non-shooters. Thus, every drive is met by at least 3 guys in the paint, sometimes 4 and 5. It's a recipe for this clusterfuck of an offense we're witnessing.

With DG, Lauri, and decoy Okoro, he should have plenty of space, but we don't play him with that unit.

Cavs by 3 ... calling it

They are literally leaving Okoro open and doubling Garland any time he is below the three point line.

Garland is too emotional man.

Like even that right now. Being that upset he missed that And-1 shot. Just take the foul and head to the line like it didn't bother you at all. The team is actually looking to you to lead, brother. That type of stuff doesn't inspire confidence.

Gonna keep saying it but, again, you'd never, ever Chris Paul react to a miss like that.

I don't see them being purposely losing anything. Unless the other team is trying to lose, I can't see us beating a healthy top 20 team in the league right now from either conference.

Garland.... just what the fuck is going on there....

Lauri is taking it to Jokic.

Well he said tanking. Which would mean it's purposeful.

Resting guys at the end to miss the play-in would be one thing.

But once you're in the play-in you're gonna try and win the game.

Bad play at both ends by DG…needed to go to the opposite side of the rim and how the entire team just stood there and watched DG try to guard Gordon is ridiculous
