Game Thread | 2021-2022 Season | Game #72 | Lakers @ Cavs | March 21, 2022 | 7:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Okoro played 29 minutes, 4-4 from three (only took four shots). He wasn't in foul trouble.

Something similar happened in Philly on March 4th. Don't get it.

Offense overall was good, but I really wanna see Okoro engaged and more involved on that end. He was parked in the corner today. I do like that he has been bringing the ball up the court in some of the recent games. Hopefully he can keep knocking down those threes! Had one make close to the wing today.
He was passing the ball from the paint for some reason. He has enough strength to just finish if the gets close enough but for some reason he was looking for the extra pass.

I feel like half the Lakers role players got put on the team like yesterday. I didn’t even know some were on the team. And they played like perfect.

Westbrook playing decent is the biggest tell. Anyway I doubt the Lakers play that good again honestly unless this is the game they turn it around. It does seem like Westbrook is coming out of that horrible slump to at least play half decent now.

But LeBron was just demoralizing and did whatever he wanted. That dunk on Love was one of the best in his whole career imo. Sheesh.

Yeah but they will prob still sweep the Cavs next season. This dude just doesn’t lose to us.
He doesn’t lose to us because he’s a front runner but also a shark in the water. When he sees a team who’s scared of him and folds he keeps attacking. Markennen should be embarrassed tonight. When the Cavs were winning Lebron didn’t do anything but DJ Augustine kept them afloat long enough for Lebron to see we were a team of pussies

Bad day to lose and act like they buddy buddy with an opposing player Toronto looks like they going to win tonight smh bulls look out of sync tbh

Right at the start of the 3rd they ran a nice little play where the ball went to one side, Garland ran off some screens like he was Curry, the ball swung to Okoro who hit Garland on a curl and he hit Mobley on a lob.

Don't think they ran that play again the rest of the half. It's like, "ok, this is our one play to take Garland off the ball and we can never use it again."

Best play of the game.

LeVert is a JAG that the Cavs traded away 2 picks for. Ugh.

Nah, hes a good player that is being criminally misused and coming off of injury and we traded 1 first round pick and 1 2nd round pick. We still have a likely top 10 2nd round pick and we were never drafting 2 or 3 more rookies this year. He has enough value to recoup 90% of what we traded if we really need to down the road. The overreaction about a dude who played like 6 games, and is now on a minutes limit, and was traded for to start only for the coach to shock the entire FO and insist to play him off the bench constantly... He's been the difference between at least 2-3 games that would have been losses already in his short tenure. LeVert trade was fine and he will be fine overall. He was fine tonight besides the foul trouble and that one inbounds pass.

Best case scenario is losing the play in. I’ll die on that hill

Imo garland got fouled on that play of the inbound but the calls were on the lakers favor all game

LeVert was pretty solid that game.

People are just overreacting. He got buckets in a stagnant ass offense. He was whistled for some highly questionable fouls.

That extension for JBB was so premature it’s not even funny. This team hasn’t had a decisive win since I don’t know when. Milwaukee two months ago? They’ve been fighting and clawing for a while now.

Gotta get rondo back not because he’s good, but because jb trusts him and not Goodwin for some reason. Only way to save garland.

Cause he’s at worst the 2nd best player of all time
It's wild. Just the other day he had "significant swelling in his knee".

Meh, just drops a damn near 40 point trip doub on our heads and gets Kevin Love on sportscenter for all the wrong reasons.
