The missed strike to Nola changed everything. It was a strike and a better pitch than the one he rung Miller up on earlier.
 
Kind of a shame the Nola brothers can't be on the same team. Unfortunately the Phillies are married to JT Realmuto.
 
I have no idea why you would throw an outside up pitch when your defense is shifted for a pull, but thank you very much.

Good job by the Padres to claw back in this first game of a doubleheader against the Padres. Even if they can't complete comeback, I still think the Padres have a good chance to take the nightcap and force a split with the Padres.

Somebody needs to tell Tito that nobody cares about SP wins anymore. He left Plesac in too long. Naylor's error cost the run that was ultimately the difference. Ump didn't help with bad/inconsistent calls in crucial situations.

Hate losing close games. This team needs a couple of ugly or walk off wins to get going. Some lesser teams to beat up on would help too. When are the Tigers coming?
