Pilkington Ks the side in the first...good start

It seems like Konnor is extremely intent on dialing in his 4 seamer. Looking good so far.
 
Pilkington has been ahead in the count, either 0-2 or 1-2, to the first seven batters.
 
Pilk.. stays away from Dozier, who, has hurt the Guards in the past..

Santana works the count.. tough at bat.. gets a single off Rosario's glove after 9 pitches..

emmanuel rivera has put quite a few good swings on Pilk offerings..but can't time up the change up..

38 pitches.. six outs..
 
Make that eight...but he has had trouble finishing them off.

Nevertheless, five Ks thru two.
 
Pilkington with five K's in the first two innings. One hit and a walk but no runs -yet.

He's hitting 95-96 with his fastball.
 
This ump is very pitcher friendly so I expect pitchers to have a good day...
 
Oscar trying really hard not to be out in front, finally gets fooled well on one low and away-ish
 
Keller has now pitched 8 innings against the G's this year allowing no runs and 2 hits. We're making this guy look like a HOF'er.
 
The bad side is the pitch count...already 40 for Pilkington.

Keller is at 23.
