Without Jose, they youngins come through: OGon, Kwan, Palacios, Naylor and Gimenez.

Mercado looked weak at the plate again, this must be the end of the line for him. The other Oscar and Kwan have overtaken him and Palacios has earned his role as PH and spot starter. Clement is the 3B backup and just an overall smarter ballplayer.
Plust Valera and the other OF in Columbus....Mercado has no use now or future.

It almost has to be Mercado that goes.

I agree if someone must go away it should be Mercado.
