I hope this is true, a mutual feeling between the Cavs and Rubio, and not just taken for granted/assumed media small talk.

Cavaliers do have one of Ricky Rubios best friends in the front office. I'm sure Rubio and Calderon have talked about his interest in potentially coming back. But I won't really buy into Rubio coming back talk until it's official.

I'm gonna disagree with this for two reasons. First, shooting is a teachable skill. You might not develop into steph curry but you can get to the Danny green level. Second, finding guys who space the floor or do other stuff on offense is easier to do in fa or thru trades. We could get ourselves a Duncan Robinson, Nic Batum, or Caris LeVert if we wanted.

Imo we should prioritize a player with good size on the wing and defensive upside. Ideally we pick Anthony Randolph, but he isnt in this draft so I settle for Eason, sochan, j Williams or Chet Holmgren

Re shooting being a teachable skill - I have shot foul shots my whole life and still can’t get much over 50%. Like Shaq!

Hoping for one of Eason/Williams personally. For some reason Dieng I want no part of. Looks like a typical soft euro. Sochan, I don't like him for the Cavs either.

Edit: I'm back on Dieng island, alone in the cold weather. :(

I was the first, and have been the loudest, Dieng supporter. If you're a fan, welcome aboard the #Diengwagon. I've welcomed others aboard, only to let them off shortly after they changed their mind.

What do you see in him that makes you a fan?

I’d love to see the Cavs land Dieng, but I have a feeling he’ll be gone by #14.

You should just get a couple of ribs removed and skip the middle man.

If it were true that the Cavs promised Dieng, and I’m not saying it is, you would have to figure they worked him out or got an up close look at him.
