People here seriously suggesting to fire Altman & JBB after the season we just had? With the young core we have in place?

I'm starting to think there's jealous fans from other teams coming to these boards to try & ruin what we have. It's the only conclusion I can come up with.

Also people predicting a 35 win season.

The Mobley exponential growth from year one to year two to year three is going to be something people are going to be blown away by. The kid is a special player. Last year they designed an offense around Garland, Sexton, and Rubio. Unfortunately, Sexton and Rubio got injured so quickly. Now that they've had Mobley for a full season and can see what he is fully capable, expect a lot of offense to run through him. It's one thing to work some of those concepts in on the rare practice days during the season. It's another to have all of the summer to plan for it and then install it in training camp.

And DG isn't done improving either.

As long as those two play 74+ games next year and the rest of the team is relatively healthy, we'll at minimum win 44-48 games.

Not to mention, they are not done. Some tweaks will be made and this will be a very deep team with another's years experience for a lot of young guys who played large roles last season.

I'm honestly satisfied with what they've done. Anything else is cherry on top of the cake.

The handle and floater are so bad. Which hurts for a four year college player.

If Sexton signs elsewhere, that leaves Garland and LeVert (for 40 games) as the only players who can initiate? Yikes.
If Sexton signs elsewhere, we'll have the full MLE.

The will absolutely add a backup PG. Even if they re-sign Sexton, they will still add a backup PG. What's tricky is if they do go the Rubio route, he's likely not playing until January, so that could get hairy in the firs two months of the season, especially if Sexton isn't back.

I believe they will also add a PF/C with more of a bruiser type game(think Harrell, Richaun Holmes type) as insurance against an Allen injury. There is a reason Moses Brown has already been moved on from by Portland, OKC(of all places to be impatient with a player), and DAL.

I liked Moses because he took some the physicality off Mobley and protected him with his size. I reall don't think he is a dumb player or one that makes a ton of mistakes. I can see him turning into a later career Mcgee type. Not super good feel for the game, but effective when he learns to properly play to his strengths. He was asked to do too much starting like that with no practice. Offensively, he rolled hard and drew fouls. He played well with Darius.

I mean if he’s our 15th guy and they want to see if they can push his development forward a bit still I won’t riot, but I just think it’s telling when a guy with that much athleticism get so quickly moved on from by other teams, including rebuilding teams that can afford to be patient

Nah. We will seriously come home to roost, this season. I wish it were other, but it is not. Cavs will take a nose-dive.

I don't see it. Another year of experience for our young guys. Chemistry will be better. I think we'll hit the 50 win mark.
I think we would, if we had a serious coach. But we don’t have that.

From the tape I have seen he does have range a few feet beyond the NCAA line so that should translate. But he will be easy to guard. You just worry about the jumper, not the pump fake or blow by. He can’t dribble he can’t pass.
Worrying about the jumper is one defender less in the paint clogging lob lanes for DG and Frobley. Mark and Ochai in both corners will be a Godsend to our woeful spacing.

He can’t dribble when asked to create but if you close out hard or chase him off screens he really just needs one to two escape dribbles and relocate for a jumpshot.

I am imagining Ochai’s impact on the team with the handful of games Okoro hit his open threes. We were dismantling teams then, remember?

The negativity and tantrum throwing reminds me of my father who saddled me with rooting for all these stupid Cleveland teams.
