I will never understand why our front office puts so much stock into workouts when they have literally thousands of minutes of each guy playing against other high-level players available to analyze.
Actually, they usually have very little footage of them playing against other high level players who are under consideration at their position for the draft in scenarios and drills that take them out of their comfort zone. Most of the time, they play other teams with maybe a couple of strong players, maybe one of whom will be even drafted, rarely at their same position or even guarding them, and the offenses are often designed for them and the defenses are designed to hide their weaknesses.

I don’t think he will be a bust. Early on, I suspect he’ll shoot around 35% from 3 and struggle on d. He doesn’t seem to have much ability to create for himself and even less for others. He looks to be explosive vertically but average horizontally. I think it’s possible that he grows into high 30’s from 3 and an solid defender. If he does, it will be a a good use of #14.

I’m sorry but I like the pick. We need shooters who can defend. He has improved every year and he only 22.
It's not hard to see how he could fit in pretty well. That's for sure. I do hope that he can be effective defensively.

• Measured standing 6-foot-1.5 in shoes with a 180-pound frame that still has room to improve and a 6-foot-5.75 wingspan at the 2022 NBA Draft Combine, Pippen Jr. does not have great positional size, but has good length for his height and excellent all-around athleticism.

Yea. He's not 6-3 unless he grew substantially since his combine measurements. And he's not long either. So look up facts instead of making random things up to fit your narrative. First you called him a SF then you claim he's 2 inches taller then he actually is.
Mentioning him as a SF was me typing too fast but I went by this which was posted AFTER the draft:

About: Scottie Pippen
Scotty Maurice Pippen Jr. is an American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the Vanderbilt Commodores. He is the son of former NBA player and Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen. Wikipedia
Born: November 10, 2000 (age 21 years), Portland, OR
Height: 6′ 3″
NBA draft: 2022 / Undrafted
Listed weight: 185 lb (84 kg)

More accurate that link or his official measurements from a month ago? I wonder which is right.

We’ll always have that one day we both liked Beauchamp.

And when he scores 17 on us randomly when we play Milwaukee this season, we’ll be absolute nightmares in the game thread.

I know I'll have a proud looking, affirmative daddy style type of smirk.

And hmm, if he busts I'll just say I liked him for you.

I'm worried. Looks like Silver is easily winning the physical battle here. He has Mobley in a death grip and Isaiah is totally off balance. Plus, our guy looks like he's about to cry.

Not a good sign

The handle and floater are so bad. Which hurts for a four year college player.

If Sexton signs elsewhere, that leaves Garland and LeVert (for 40 games) as the only players who can initiate? Yikes.

Bring Rick Ross Rubio. He will put rookie's skillset to good use. This team is hosed if RRR can't make a comeback.
