How many guys in the past 25 years have averaged that stat line?
The answer is 9 BTW.
bcz the cavs are suspect at the 3 with laurie....who imo is better suited coming off the bench and lavert is too small to play starter minutes there.....if you disagree...who else do you suggest that can do a 50/40 with a 108 defensive rating?....and whose been proven to be iron as opposed to paper like kevin love
its not always the most talented team that wins it but the healthiest.....do the pistons beat the lakers if both scott and magic are healthy?.....the celtics beat the bucks with a healthy middelton ?
the cavs sign sexton....trade love for harrison....they are still under the cap wiht a championship level team...
and then 12 minute/game carmello anthony signs for 2.5mm knowing that this is his last shot to get the ring
its all right there and the cavs world level management knows it

I believe Evan will keep developing as a playmaker and I think Isaiah can also help if he develops into a rotation player. I do think I would try to add someone that is more of a point that can run the offense like a PG. I think with how Koby has built depth a point in a SF body probably proves the most lineup flexibility to the rest of the roster.

3 reasons Cavs should trade Kings for Harrison Barnes
The Cavs are on the cusp of becoming a consistent contender. What would a potential trade with the Kings for Harrison Barnes bring the team?
a confirmed and legit 50/40 guy who can put up a 108 defensive rating is what most people would consider as the quitessential "3 and D" player...arguably the most coveted player in the league at the moment. and with his favorable health history relative to kevin love...should the cavs resign sexton....a first round pick right now seems like solid value when taking into consideration that the cavs already pulled the trigger last year when they gave up a 1st round for lavert with rajon fukn rondo coming off the bench as opposed to presumably sexton....watch after they sign sexton....the cavs already have something in place to get rid of the injury-prone love....and imo the world-classs organization have already talked with carmello whose not signing anything until all the smoke clears.

Colin has been a little snake bit from the jump.. His college team was devoid of talent, which left him flying solo a lot. Then he gets drafted to Lebrons team, after which LeBron promptly exits, leaving a team devoid of assets and decent players. Love takes a vacation, pandemic hits.. then the knee..
I feel like he deserves a break in his direction..

I've always wondered how much the vets disliking Sexton in his rookie year was Sexton himself vs the dislike that the organization didn't trade that pick to give them a better chance at winning a championship the year before. While I don't believe LeBron would have stayed, I wonder if those vet players think he would have if they used the pick to get a good player the year earlier. They were pretty delusional with thinking they could compete without LeBron until they got hit in the face in those first 6 games and Lue gets fired (or quits).

This is beyond fantasy land.
You knock "injury prone" Kevin Love, but the Kings are supposed to trade Barnes for him??? What possible use would the Kings, a team nowhere near competing for a ring, have for Love?? Why don't we instead just trade Love for Giannis, that way not only do we get better but it hurts the Bucks too?? Once we get Giannis here Wade will be less useful, so maybe we can package him and a 2nd rounder to Dallas for Luka. I've heard Luka is sick of losing and wants to come to a "world level" organization.
We had a hard time attracting free agents when we were a championship level team with the best player in the world, but now vets are going to come here at a discount because you have a fantasy?? We are projected by Vegas to be a .500 team, and those casinos didn't get built by idiots. Outside of Sexton the roster is pretty much set, and the team will be content to hope its players continue to grow. Maybe in a couple years if Mobley develops like we hope this team will be in the conversation for a ring, but right now they are a 2nd or 3rd tier team in the East just hoping to earn a playoff berth.
Barnes, like Love, is entering the last year of his deal. There's just no way on earth the Kings would ever make such a deal. Barnes will clearly be movable at the deadline if the Kings decide to do so, his 18 million dollar deal is not that difficult to build a deal around. Love's 28 million is more of a problem, the bigger the number the more pieces have to be involved, and the more pieces that are involved make a deal harder to finalize. It's a pure fantasy deal, one side gets what it wants and the other side gets nada.
