In response to a question on Twitter today (why is Pilkington starting in Columbus today & not for CLE in Tampa), Justin Lada of GBI noted that Pilkington has only 2 option trips left for this season.
This is a where the injuries & lack of performance by Cody Morris & Tobias Myers (& others) have come back to impact the team..

I just had my grandma empty out her pension fund so I can bet on the Guardians to pull through and prove the haters and Vegas wrong.

Grandma and I will be watching together in our Shaw jerseys, hoping that our man won't let us down and that granny doesn't have to get a reverse mortgage on her home.

You can leave the keys on the kitchen counter when the game is over. What's the trick with the water on the downstairs sink? Gotta be comfortable in Granny's house.

Sadly, the downstairs sink has been irreparably damaged since I did an upper decker in the adjacent toilet.
 
Apart from Bieber, the Lil Pitching Factory is having it's struggles. Looking more like Lordstown Motors and less like Tesla.

Francona effectively forfeit today with that lineup and this "Shaw starter" nonsense. Who knows, we could still win. But this was a forfeit regardless.
