Browns Training Camp 2022

I'm not sure at all what you mean by this.

Anthony Walker is a terrific leader, makes the calls for the defense, and is an average starting middle linebacker in the league. That's what he was in Indy, that's what we expected when we signed him away from them, and that's what he did when healthy last year.

What else are you expecting? If you want higher ceiling linebacker play, well, JOK is obviously number one with a bullet--but then you have to hope for Jordan Phillips to show out. Walker is what he is--and I don't think he's a problem.

BJ Goodson had similar stats as Walker in Woods system…I’m just looking for progress.

I guess I’m critical of Woods system, I dont think it’s at its potential if we dont have some DT.

I believe that the Browns D could be top 3, but we got to tighten up 4th down conversion, red zone scoring and passes to the RB. That starts with the d line.

My fear is when Watson drives us down the field in stupid fast time, the defense is gives up chunks of field and we can’t stop the run in the red zone. Like the opposite of 2021 browns offense in the 4th. The browns offense passed for 4 tds in the 4th qrt of all last season.

I apologize for missing your post

Cribbs is probably top 5 all time, Metcalf was pretty special too. My number one might be Gale Sayers, but others that come to mind are Brian Mitchell, Devin Hester, Desmond Howard, Mel Gray (yeah Purdue, lol), Deion Sanders and Dante Hall.

This is not an order, Cribbs is in that conversation though for sure, top 5? top 3?
I will not stand for the Cordarelle Patterson disrespect.

Cribbs, Hester and Patterson are the top three all-time and I don't think it's particularly close.

Watson is scheduled to start in Jacksonville. We'll see if the league suspends him indefinitely by then.

I wonder if the Browns already know what punishment is coming. It's been reported they expect to hear this week. Perhaps they know he won't be indefinitely suspended and that's why they've announced this. OR, maybe they are forcing the NFLs hand to make a decision by announcing this.

I’m betting they are trying to expedite the decision.

I'm Arnold at the end of Predator. Just kill me already.

I've already prepared myself of 17 games with Brissett. It'll be mostly good football with frustrating passing game issues.

Desmond Howard is #1 with a bullet. I know Ohio State fans will always hate him, but he's from Cleveland. It's okay to admit.

Heisman Maxwell and Walter Camp winner, college HOFer, won Super Bowl XXXI basically by himself, had over 11,000 return yards in his career and 8 punt return touchdowns.

Devin Hester had 14 punt return tds, 5 kick return tds, and a 108 yd missed fg return td. Also returned the opening kick of a super bowl for a touchdown. Hard to top that, though if you include Cribbs' coverage skills, I'd make him the #1 non kicking special teamer.
