Tommy Henrich struck out, but the pitch got away from Mickey Owens and Henrich was safe at first.
Dimaggio singled. Charlie Keller drove them both in with a double. Bill Dickey then walked and Joe Gordon drove two more runs in with a double.
Yankees won 7-3 and went on to win the Series.
