2022 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So OSUs opponents are going to lose to Marshall, Iowa St, Duke, Washington St and Idaho, all at home? Great!

Jesus Nebraska is tied at home 35-35 with Georgia Southern.

It's amazing how quickly that program has died. One of the all time programs is now bottom half of the country, I'd say.

Lord.

If the Big Ten could do it again, wouldn't they trade Nebraska for Kentucky?

I know Nebraska still has an insane fan base that sells out their stadium but...that won't continue forever if keeps trending this way.

What's happened at Nebraska doesn't get talked about enough.

This isn't just a historically good program that has taken a step back for an extended period of time, like, say, Georgia Tech or Colorado.

This is, still, a top 5 winningest programs of all time, I do believe. The best program in the '90s, by a wide margin and now they're....this.

If they lose this game, you just fire him, right?

Even if they can never regain their former glory for sustained periods, can't they find someone to do what Harbaugh has done at Michigan? Get to 9-10 wins consistently?

Should have never fired Bo Pelini.

There it is. Frost getting fired before the postgame presser?

What a day for the Sun Belt.

And they had a win at Virginia Tech in week 1!

They gotta fire him this week.

They're still selling out a 90k stadium every week. You can't let this continue until the fans stop showing up.

If I'm Nebraska, I go looking for a coach who has proven they can win in the big time conferences w/o a ton of talent coming in. That's what you'll need for quite a while.

See if you can pay PJ Fleck enough money to come there and leave Minnesota. No reason that a guy can't win at Nebraska in the Big 10 if he can do it at Minnesota.

The buyout apparently goes from 15 mil to 7.5 mil if they wait until October 1st to fire him, so I think they’ll wait.

That coach’s seat in Nebraska is just a pile of ash at this point.

Think it’s just a formality (and money-saving move) to wait til the calendar turns to October for Frost to get shit canned.

They essentially had this with Bo Pelini and they fired him because it wasn’t meeting the standard. So they went from a 9-win guy to…

Frost is gone, obviously not surprising.
