What you said was false. Wade started at SF before Okoro did last season. That’s what I’m getting at.

The overall problem is moving goalposts. Okoro started 67 games as a rookie, mostly at SF next to Sexland. Why focus so much on the first three weeks of last season?

Bottom line, the playoffs don't start in September. The Cavs should mix development with "best possible lineup" early.

I THINK the point is, perhaps, that Okoro mostly started at SG after Sexton got hurt, so people are questioning his fit at the 3. I'm hungover so feel free to ignore my ramblings.

Okoro is a lost cause unless he is used off the bench, which reduces his value. He doesn't have the shooting ability or length we need sandwiched between Mitchell/Mobley. There is a reason he wasn't mentioned much in the presser. He is gone soon enough. Good riddance.

We are done building. It is now about winning. I don’t care about anyone’s age or draft position at this time. If someone is the best player at that position we need to be starting that player. If you are not the best - get better if you want to play.

I've been banging the drum for Wade to start and here's someone who agrees. Like I said, all he has to do is improve his corner 3 percentage and he'll be very effective. The front line of Allen/Mobley/Wade outscored opponents by 7 points more than Allen/Mobley/Markkanen last year.

I think Wade or even Lamar is our best SF to start, but I am thinking right now its Wade. Levert is not a SF, neither is Okoro so just dont see any better options.

Okoro has started every game of his career. I'd be surprised to see him benched for Wade.

In my mind its not Okoro for Wade, its Mitchell starting over Okoro, Okoro doesnt defend SF's very well, he is a beast against both guard positions, but I dont want to see Okoro at SF.

Okoro's standing reach is a half inch more than Donovan's, let that sink in.

What's everybody's thoughts on Kyle Kuzma as a potential trade target? I scoffed at the idea initially, but he's 6'9", can create his own shot, and after getting over his fuckboy wannabe star phase in LA, overhauled his game to be a scrappy 3&D player. He's got championship experience, is only 27 so not terribly old for our core, is on a reasonable contract and, best yet, plays for a moribund franchise that probably wouldn't be too difficult to pry him from.
