Cleveland Browns 2022 Regular Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not understanding the disdain here.

-He is one of the best players the Browns have had since the return.
-He wanted to stay in Cleveland despite years of ineptitude around him.
-The Browns cut him.
-He took a job with a team willing to pay him starter money. Can anyone blame him?
-He wants to retire as a Cleveland Brown, one of the biggest jokes of a franchise over the last 2+ decades. This is a bad thing?

I have always loved Joe Haden.

Yeah I was a bit salty that of all teams to play for he chose the Steelers, but that's not something I'd hold a grudge over. Welcome home, Joe!

The players-only meeting is a good thing IMO. I'm still convinced there's enough talent at all levels of the defense for it to be a top unit over the course of a season. The blown assignments and coverage lapses on Sunday were egregious (particularly given game situation at the time) but in the early weeks of the season guys have been running wide open in many games, not just here.

It's time for the veterans to actually lead. JJ3 seems to do a lot of talking before and after games. Perhaps he can do some during them when it can actually make a difference?

I've been pleasantly surprised by how well the offense has functioned in the first couple of weeks. We'll have to see if it can continue to produce when called upon to quickly answer some of the high-octane attacks we'll face in the coming weeks, but there's enough of a base performance level to have confidence that when Watson comes in we can be in a competitive spot in the division—if not necessarily the conference—this year. Baltimore looks flawed, Steelers are as poor a football team as they've been in a generation and Bengals are currently showing their SB appearance was a outlier-mirage.

Onwards.

People get all riled up about Joe Haden because he went to the Steelers, but the ones that really hurt me were Bruce Gradkowski and L.J. Fort. Can't believe those traitors would sign with the enemy!

There’s no question we have the talent… it’s more of the coaching and Joe Woods being an idiot, decision making, communication, etc
