2022 American League Central Division Champions

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sat game is almost gone ... just few corner upper deck remain. Still plenty for Sunday.
Yet, I did notice a lot of tickets for Friday game went back on sale after they announced the times (kind of weird that it was just upper deck the day before then a lot of lower bowl seats became available).

Actually ... Sat has only 4 seats left ... and probably gone by now. But, if you want to see the Tribe ... go to NY. They still have plenty of seats for Tuesday. Amazing how a city does not turn out for their team. What a laughing stock. Cleveland sells out Game 3 and Game 1 isn't yet.

Today's Game Balls:
  • TMac. Great job. Six shutout innings. Two hits. Nothing else needs to be said.
  • Eli Morgan. I trusted Bryan Shaw more than you at one point this year. Came in and shut down a bad situation and pitched another scoreless frame.
  • Sam Hentges. Three innings? Way to go big guy. Getting out of the 15th was ballsy. Dude came up huge and is unhittable when he's on. Andrew Miller flashbacks.
  • MYLES STRAW. We lose without his defense in center. He also got on base more than anyone else on the team today. Did everything you could ask for. Well done.
  • Jose Ramirez. Yeah, an awful day at the plate... but you've low key been sort of bad at third this year. That play in the 12th saved the game for us and was one of the most impressive plays made at third all year. Even when you're not hitting, you're the heart and soul of this team.
  • Hedges and Maile. 15 innings and not a single mistake behind the plate. That deserves kudos.
  • Oscar motherfucking Gonzalez. Home. Run. Pitch.

I was at the game and can confirm it’s because they want the team to find enough rats for the buffet.

On a day with so little offense, I would send an atta’ boy Josh Naylor’s way…came up big on a few key scoops and stretches - needed each and every one today.

Starting to get that wild feeling we're doing something dangerous here!!

I'm young enough to remember when we took some youth into NY and defeated the Giant Killer in Torre, Arod, Jeter, Posada, Pettite, and Rivera.

The kids weren't supposed to win that and end Joe Torre, and here we are again. These kids aren't supposed to all rise and take out the Judge, but gotdamn't, that's exactly what's going to happen.

Yankees are 35-35 since the All-Star break (same record as the Rays).

I remember the Yankees slipping somewhat bad. But that's pretty bad for 70 games and going into the playoffs. I'd rather start 35-35, not finish.

I think we have a real shot, more than the pundits will give us. Be smart pitching to Judge, challenge everyone else with your stuff. We must score more than 3 runs though.

I am getting that feeling as well. I might head up to the Bronx on Tuesday for the game. Tickets aren't that bad right now. If I can get enough work done tomorrow might buy a ticket that or just buy a scalped ticket Tuesday before the game... I flew back to Cleveland for a game against the Red Sox in 2016 in the ALDS. Starting to get that same feeling...

Also recently did the same to the Red Sox. Sent Big Papi out on a high note after literally everyone picked them.

I'd like to see us jump on them in game one, thinking they've had some days off and we're on a roll. Get the edge and flip home field advantage right out of the gate.
