2022 Season - Week #5 - Chargers @ Browns - 10/9 - 1 pm on CBS

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I can voice my opinion as well as other fans though, right?

I assure you the paying fans in the stadium didn't all agree with the fans who chose booing the team after they were within a foot or two of winning.

I mean, in some ways I cannot blame the booing since this team should be 5-0 and they are 2-3. It's not something I would personally do, but I cannot blame the fans for being mad. It doesn't help the players though, so its better not to boo your team regardless of how good they have been. Save the Boos for the Steelers, Ravens etc...

My take isn't blame or responsibility. It's just eh, wish we didn't do that.

Meh, the franchise has largely been a dumpster fire since '99 and has consistently found ways to snap defeat from the jaws of victory.

Don't really blame the fans for booing. It's a harmless way of expressing their dissatisfaction directly to the team that they paid money to go see.

When they start sending death threats to players on social media, throwing shit on the field, etc. that's when we've got issues.

That’s cute. I’ve got a few personal DMs from others that are glad that I called some of these more pretentious guys out. Because god forbid fans on a message board be upset and be critical of the coaches and players on the field.

Always hilarious watching keyboard warriors telling season ticket holders who dump thousands into supporting the team how they arent supporting their team properly.

This isn't the talent level of an undefeated team. They earned the 2-3 record.

Doesn't everyone get an opinion here? Didn't look to me like every paying fan was booing. And being out of market, I do pay for this weekly disappointment.

Yeah. Every fan gets an opinion. I support both the fans that cheered and the fans that booed. Let them voice their pleasure or displeasure with the product.

You want to boo. You paid for the right to boo.

I'd say (talent-wise) they're better than 2-3, but not by much. DT and S are black holes on defense. WR room is still pretty thin (Cooper's synergy with Brissett has been a nice surprise, though). Backup QB is... playing like a backup QB.

Still, I predicted this team would go 9-8 on the year, losing a few games they shouldn't and winning a few games they shouldn't. So far, this season is playing out that effect.

They’d rather give Joe Woods and Cade York hugs and pats on the butt for trying. Winning or
Losing is whatever… as long as the boys tried hard and had fun.

Agreed - not sure what people expect out of a career backup. He’s not going to win you games playing hero
I don't blame Jacoby for being a backup. I do blame him, when he was billed as a good decision maker, for showing in crunch time he is actually unable to manage risk. That bomb attempt in the last drive today and his interceptions are inexcusable based on his reputation but I admit, I may have been a sucker for some marketing there. I did not deep dive into his career.
