Phils just won’t die.

Now I know how Commodus felt, with regard to Maximus.
 
That was gut-grinder, but Phils take game 1 in Houston!
 
People that counted the Phillies out and said 5 games is gonna fuck around and find out.

Yes, 10 innings.
But game was over around 12:35 AM EDT. Way to build an audience.
 
If I were a Phillies fan, not sure my heart would've been able to withstand those back to back 8th inning tease jacks from Schwarber.
 
McCullers just served up 5 dingers, including the 1,000th WS home run to Bohm.
 
Hope the Phillies finish this run like the Indians did not against the Cubs.

Nah, misery loves company.

And the Phillies, as the 6th seed, have no business being where they are. And I will always hate Kyle Schwarber and wish him ill.

That said: power is why the Phillies are where they are, despite winning 87 games in the regular season.

Wish WE had power.
 
Nice job by the Phillies tonight on both sides of the ball. Pulled away early and the Phillies' B-team bullpen delivers.

Hard not seeing them walking away the Champs at this point, almost seems destined.
 
It's fun to see the Astro bats silenced. 5 singles.
