2022 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm old enough to remember when BUF was supposed to run the table.

Allen has kinda given away the games the last two weeks.

I mean not kinda today. He gave it away. He fumbled in the end zone at the end of regulation giving them a TD and then threw that pick when they were well within FG range.

Glad the VIkings are gonna win this because that Justin Jefferson catch deserves it.

It changes yearly, but I feel like he's gonna be considered the best WR in the league for a good, long time.

I understand it's hard to say that for this position considering how the rules have changed to help WRs and QBs, but he's on another level from the next best guy (Tyreek Hill? Stefon Diggs?)
I still think it's Tyreek. I think it's been Tyreek since 2018.

I can't argue against anyone saying it's Jefferson, Chase, Kupp or Davante.

It took Mr. Saturday one week to win just as many games as ol Joe did in two seasons. Egregious.

Hire Jim Brown
If Joe had been coaching while starting at LT, we'd have won more than Hue did.

Raiders are a fucking dumpster fire. Going to assume Raiders fire McDaniels, release Carr at the end of the year, and draft a QB. Who’s taking over at HC there? Sean Payton with the Brinks truck?

Just insane that the Raiders made the playoffs, let go of their interim HC that got them there, hired McDaniels, and are likely to nuke the franchise a year later. Awful.

Who's runnin' that team? Captain Kangaroo??

Buffalo will recover, Miami will run into a wall. Because against teams with even middling defenses, they can't run the ball.
Expect Buffalo to do the same thing to the Browns this week, and the Succas after them (even though Boody is ASS this season).

Vikings have thus deaded the meme of "Eagles haven't beat any good teams". The Eagles have given them their only loss.
Eagles should beat the Snyders on MNF. They might actually go 15-2, 14-3. They will lose but the rest of the schedule looks pretty weak.

The AFC East could basically send both Wild Card slots to the playoffs, that's wild.

Why don't I get this?
Everyone was blasting the colts for hiring Saturday with no coaching experience and in his first game he beat the raiders whom he called terrible a couple weeks ago.

I mean, it was still an objectively insane coaching hire. If it ends up working out that won’t change the fact that he was woefully unqualified for the job.

There is still a 3rd WC spot, which is most likely the Chargers', but you never know with the Pats.
