2022 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
There is still a 3rd WC spot, which is most likely the Chargers', but you never know with the Pats.
Oh yeah, forgot about that. Probably the Pats or Chargers depending....

Eagles were taking lessons from Joe Woods on run defense tonight. Coughed up positive plays.
Fuck the refs for no-calling the facemask, and calling that weakass "roughing" call.

Bullshit. Eagles going 14-3.

Don't let @Real Deal hear you talk about the Eagles run defense, or how losing Jordan Davis significantly impacts the team.

I'm sure if we lost Myles it'll significantly ruin our team, bottom line is the coaching staff had them in postion to win a ball game. Unlike our coaching on that side of the ball.

this much is true.

The Eagles were sorely missing Jordan Davis (which tells me they need at least one more guy to shore up the run defense). if you look at box scores, the averages were nowhere near as bad as what Woods was letting go against Miami.

But I was getting pissed off at every 3rd and 1, 3rd and 2. The Commodes only punted ONCE.

Well, the first punt return for a touchdown this season just occurred giving the Pats a win over the Jets with 5 seconds left

Here we are a week later. Eagles add Suh and Linval Joseph. Tough game in Indy that came down to the last drive and the last 2 downs of the game for Philly.
Defense dominated after getting Browns-ed on the opening drive, and the offense fumbling on comeback drives.

Lions torching the Giants, Cowboys doing what they do and the lead is back up. Fuck the Crimson Guard of Maryland.

In a game with no TDs, rookie Marcus Jones return a punt all the way for the score with 10 seconds left!

Baker throwing a pick late against the Ravens. Pass got batted into the air because he’s a midget.

Hockenson dropping two straight TD throws from Quirky Kirk. Second one he did endure some contact, but still catchable. Tight end with loose hands. Vikes and Cowboys tied with a couple of field goals early.

That last ditch block was almost a disaster. Could've been called for a block in the back if the officials wanted to be pricks.

The Skol's win at Buffalo suddenly doesn't look impressive anymore. What a major Brownslike letdown here today. All facets of the game, complete domination. Dallas isn't this good.
