I’m not sure how many people actually watched the game… But he looked very mediocre until that final drive. He threw a pick, but was bailed out by Raiders penalties on the pass interference and roughing, and only had about 180 yards passing with no touchdowns. The pass to Skowronek was terrible and he was bailed out by a great catch. The final ball for the touchdown was very good though.
I get it… He had only been there for 48 hours but there are some people (not pointing at RCF because I don’t see it on here) taking victory laps and they may want to take their foot off the pedal. Raiders are terrible, they let off the gas, and they bailed him out with penalties on that final drive. He had a good final drive last night that it’s fresh in everyone’s mind but that does not mean Baker is going to all of a sudden be consistent and stop the happy feet.
