Baker Mayfield: Fire The Cannons

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I was at the TNF game vs. the Jets in which Baker Debuted, and let me tell you: First Energy Stadium was absolutely Electric. (no pun) I don't think I've ever felt so Elevated by a debut performance in any sport.

What a damn tease this Baker is.

Both sides are annoying. The Baker Bros who treat him like god are just as annoying as the people with a weird fetish who get off on seeing Baker fail.

Sorry to kink shame.

You are spot on. I don't believe this trend is isolated to debating Baker's status as an starting quarterback. The polarization in every facset of life is a problem with this decade. People insulted each other over whether or not a hot dog is a sandwich.

McVey is the guy for Baker, imo. He's a dude that totally believes in him, unlike...well almost a any other good coach in the NFL.

Hope he just stays in LAR.
Don't coaches believe in him until he gives them a reason not to?

.
While unconventional, it is absolutely a sandwich. There is no convincing argument against.

Montanans literally call it a hot dog sandwich.

If a hot dog is a sandwich then what do you call a hot dog without the bun?

It has the making of Brian's Song where the reality is Brian dies and Gayle Sayers is out of the league in a year after the comeback

If we end Baker's Song there its a happy ending, if we let the movie play out he will be up and down and out of the leauge in 4 years, lol

Franks

They become a hot dog when you add the bun.

Look at the package of all your favorites if you guys think I’m wrong.

Hot dog. Sandwiches. Montana.

I think coaches can put together an offense that Baker can succeed in but it usually doesn't line up with what most NFL coaches want to run. On top of that, I don't think it's what Baker wants to run. I think Baker pushes to add more and the coaches give in because it's ultimately what they want too.

The reason why I thought it would be good for Baker to go to the 49ers is because Kyle Shanahan likes to be a running team. Having a coach that rather run the ball or put together plays to try to set up yards after the catch, is really what Baker should be in.
