What a collapse. Two points in 6 minutes scored. Towns has taken 3 shots. He's really shrinking in the moment his team needs him to rise. Edwards doesn't seem to want the ball either. He seems petrified of Bane. So the clock ticks down and leaves Russell to be Russell. Just all the problems...

  • Mitchell is going to have problems on every team he goes to. He is an undersized SG and needs certain personnel around him to mask it. No team is going to plug him in and win a championship.

  • It's why I've brought him up as a Sexton comparison for a while now. Good player. Great scorer. But he's small for his position and he has poor vision and/or just doesn't like passing. Whether its physical or its attitude, doesn't matter. Though the last I guess you could hope you could fix. But he'd be far more impactful if he could play point guard more. But he can't.

agreed, why would we want conley ? He is older, declining, does not fit this team timeline. And we already signed neto and rubio. Utah adding a draft choice is meh as well. This is just Danny Ainge throwing shit at the wall to try to get bites for one sided trades. I wouldn't put it pass...

  • Donovan Mitchell is a slightly better player with slightly longer arms. Sexton is a better shooter, similar playmaker, and draws more fouls and is 2 years younger. Mitchell is an equally bad defender, worse attitude on defense.

He has ascended in to the superstar stratosphere here and he appears to be a perfect pair with Garland.

As Mobley also comes in to his own, timing on that trade was incredible.

Couldn’t agree more. Team got exactly what it needed and all of the pieces around it are starting to fall into place.

For me the biggest beneficiary has been Allen. He’s no longer ever having to play above his capabilities, and he continues to be an absolute monster with a low usage rate.
