Game Thread | Game #80 | Cavs @ Magic | April 4, 2023

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Allen’s interior defense really helped tonight. Felt that was missed against the Knicks and it showed why we needed him tonight. That block when he wasn’t afraid to get posterized was phenomenal. And he also made some key buckets offensively tonight too.

Everyone needs to chill out about resting players. They’ve been playing one game every two to three days lately. These dudes are all in their early 20s. They’ll be fine

Third seed still possible right? Sixers lose tonight and Cavs are only 1.5 games out.

Why would would you say Spida is playing out of his mind when over the course of about 74 games he’s shown this is pretty close to his norm?

What I’m saying is that we do not have a substantial offensive game plan. SPIDA can’t have a bad game or else. Why is that? We don’t take advantage of our guys strengths. We don’t adjust quick enough which is why games end up being tougher then they should be. We’re terrible in critical coaching situations like OOB plays, challenges, working the refs, adjustments……

It great we won 50 games this year, was one of my goals, but this game farther proves that JBB should be in the unemployment line rather than coaching a NBA team.
Nah, more continues to prove the majority of the fanbase isn’t cut out for watching a young team develop the main way development happens, through trial and error and through learning to deal with adversity over time

Good to get the W and put all doubts to rest. Now let’s play our core about 25 minutes the rest of the season to stay sharp, hopefully get Okoro healed, play Dean, Rubio and Cedi 30 minutes a game and tell them to shoot, shoot, shoot until they find the their rhythm, and hopefully come into the Knicks series ready to roll.

Normally I would agree but Garland looks completely gassed, even though he has missed a good chuck of the season. Then you have Mr low T himself Jarrett Allen, rest is only a positive right now.

We run and score off plays and actions all the time.

Other times we runs plays and actions only to have the wide open threes generated bricked by Wade, Love, Stevens, Rubio, Okoro(he’s improved at least), and Mobley

You really think that type of offense suits this roster as it stands today?

The majority of teams with the top10 record in “clutch situations” have one thing in common. Mostly vets in their end of game 5.

Those same cores stifled earlier in their trajectories when they were younger.

What you are seeing is normal. Not pretty. Need to be corrected over time, but absolutely normal.

No one sees or accepts that in our own vacuum bubble as Cavs fans only vs observers of the league as a whole every year.

Did you really think we are a vet team in the realm of MIL, PHI, BOS, LAC, DEN(some of the teams with the best Clutch Situation records)

Look you seem to be JBBs biggest supporter possibly a family member, but trailing and erroring simple out of bounds plays 80 games into a season isn't something that screams confidence about the future. I won't even get started on his bizarre rotations, the doghouse/emasculation of the bench, The Love situation. And the lack of any kind set plays or offensive scheme. Your entitled to your opinion, but most of this board can see with with their own two eyes, he ain't it. Hell even our puff piece local media started turning on him shortly after the New Year. Happy for the 50 good night everyone! Go Cavs!
