Game Thread | Knicks playoff series Game #1 | Knicks @ Cavs | April 15, 2023

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Watching the Kings/Warriors game. So nice to see a young player in his first playoff game excel and take over against the defending champs. Not using the “youth” excuse Not like the turds we have.

Are you talking about Fox? He has been in the league longer than Mitchell and will be Mitchell's age in December...

I've been feeling like our team will get stronger and put together better performances as this series went along. Thought game 1 would be tough for this squad, not surprised by the result to be honest. I still think Cavs in 6, with them winning games 4, 5, and 6. This will probably be Mobley's worst game of the series, he's going to make little improvements every game I think. I really believe in this team.

Sorry if I will break someone’s child dreams right now, but…we all know this team is not a Championship team. This team is managed by poor GM that hired a head coach that had 0 Playoff experience and had little experience overall. The coach could not even fix rotational problems during the season and he cant do anything right now as well.Same with this team.Very bad offensively and defensively bench which wasnt fixed by our incompetent GM during regular season.Starting five is not consistent and again, has only DM with playoff experience and basically hes only one who wanted to win,but his desire to win always go along with his mistakes as well.He cant carry this team on his shoulders. We need better guys than Garland,Brickoro and even JA.Pumpkin cant turn into carriage at 12 o clock ,just like this team that had issues throughout the seaso cant become champion by magic click right now.Lets face it and hope this team will be fix next year
I’m of two minds. On the one hand, this team needs as much playoff experience as possible, so getting to the second round is important. On the other hand, moving on from JBB is ALSO important, and getting swept in the first round would help THAT the most. I think Scenario #2 might be MOST important, in the long run.

But hey - the Tribe won, so the night wasn’t ALL bad…

Yes Fox. And not toward Mitchell but more toward DG. Fox playing his first playoff game. Don’t care what age he is. Playing aggressive and not scared. Without Mitchell we’d lose by 30

Mike Brown playing youth...

Kings are also running and getting easy baskets in transition. That would be quite the concept for a team that lacks floor spacing and struggles in the half court. If only I knew of such a team.

Geez this SAC-GSW game is amazing. So much talent. Makes both the Cavs and Knicks look like G league teams

people blaming cedi guarding brunson when jbb placed him there
No one is blaming Cedi for that.

But let me tell you something. Cedi is closer to trash than he his is to a rotational piece on a championship contender.

Garland is an undersized, slow, unathletic, easily rattled, weak-minded, sloppy, timid player. Everything needs to be going flawlessly for him to thrive. Prove me wrong buddy.

And what's with Randle with two cheap chots on Okoro and Garland with no ramifications? Dude needs choked out by Lopez or a blast to the groin.

Wtf kind of nonsense is this about DG? As they say, what are you smoking, dude?

I mean with how the refs have officiated our games all season i think that’d be a recipe for disaster. Jarrett Allen was getting mauled all game against New York and NOTHING

Agree on the second part even though i don’t think either face shot was intentional.

The 1st paragraph is hogwash .
