Game Thread | Knicks playoff series Game #4 | Cavs @ Knicks | April 23, 2023 | 1:00 p.m. ABC

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Garland played Brunson quite well. Head scratching play from some of the Cavs and weird rotations. We had galrnad cooking and had motion and then we just stopped. Pick and roll doesn't work on this knicks team when we have no shooters
Turning Brunson into a passer off a double or contact is the right strategy. The problem is every single off ball defender has lost track of their man and given up shots or easy baskets.

This loss is on Mitchell. Garland had it going in the second half, and Mitchell got the ball and immediately started chucking terrible shots. Oh, and whoever was supposed to box out Josh Hart.

This team needs more hustle guys like Hart, Hartenstein, etc. They don't have any outside of Stevens. We need another Varejao, Delly, etc.

What about the one on the bench named Lamar stevens?

I'd rather rehash all the dummies that said Hart wasn't gonna be a needle mover for this team around the deadline.

We didn’t have the resources to get Hart. Knicks used a protected first round pick to do it

Have fun fixing these evident giant weaknesses we have without a single FRP to use in doing it

He missed two.
And Cedi misses everything, provides nothing defensively and makes the most boneheaded plays I’ve ever seen. What changed from regular season where they rode Okoro all season saying how much be brought on the defensive side and could knock down enough shots to keep him out there… to the playoffs where they just totally go away from him. It’s a fireable offense

We do not have the best basketball player of all time on this squad.
They also don't have a 73-win team. If they take care of business at home, it comes down to one huge win at the Garden. Will they pull it off? I'm not optimistic but possible

this 3-1 doesn't feel as bad as 3-1 against the Warriors, the Knicks are a very beatable team and I fully expect the Cavs to shoot better back at the Q and bring it to 3-2

Garland had a bad first game in NY and now Donovan a bad game today, as long as those two just give regular performances in game 6 I can see the Cavs escaping with a victory

Game 7 at the Q, no shot for NY

If you have prime LeBron on your team, anything is possible.

We don't have anyone that is even 40% of prime Bron on this team.

On the road in a hostile environment and our best player also has the most playoff experienced. He was absolutely terrible. 6 turnovers to 5 buckets and 0/4 from 3 in 41 minutes. I know there were other issues but this is utterly inexplicable.

Garland did well to bounce back from a tough first half.

Don’t know why Okoro only got 13 minutes. Ok with benching him if he sucks but we did well with him out there and he made some good play & had more made 3s than Mitchell (my gawd).

Franchise trades away 3 firsts and the most-recent first round pick and 2 viable starters to get fisted in the first round. I don’t wanna hear about youth/growth etc when trading away that much after pissing away several years post-Lebron. The instant Koby and BB operations made the deal for DMitchell, they accelerated the time frame back to relevancy. Making that type of deal then saying “well, it will take another 2-3 years” is horseshit. Losing badly in the first round like this? Yeah, heads gotta roll, time to throw out the children and bring in some adults to make better decisions.

I really hope Gilbert says fuck it and cans JBB after this. He ain't the sole reason we're losing. But sure as hell not the solution either. He just sucks.
Dan isn’t checked in the way he once was. This is a Koby call. I don’t see it.
