They also don't have a 73-win team. If they take care of business at home, it comes down to one huge win at the Garden. Will they pull it off? I'm not optimistic but possible
That’s fair, and i agree with original post to a certain extent. I see a realistic path to us winning series. At least game seven. But this squad looks shook on the road. That the hurdle. Get over the road struggles and our guys will feast.

wish JBB would at least try Stevens on Brunson

The Knicks would have to shit the bed like we do for that to happen. They are just playing better basketball right now.

Okoro still outplayed Mitchell. I love Okoro, and he played well, but we have no chance of winning if that's the case.

Mitchell still deserves the most criticism, but really, the lack of backbone is my biggest beef. Where is it?

When shit goes bad, they just freakin' panic. These are definitely not your LeBron James Cavs. Those teams weren't perfect, but they had a backbone.

That's what really is demoralizing. We weren't outplayed, we were out willed. The Knicks broke our will, really? You can sense it, once they came back swinging, we folded, lost the lead, and never came close to getting it back.

That is just sad.

He missed 3s on an island in the most crucial times. It's all for nothing if u can't help extend the lead.

Had one waved off too because of off foul on Mitchell.

Fact is they had a lead with him and not without him

Part of the big issue with Mitchell is our lack of gravity as well.

If he is trying to force action to the side either Okoro or Cedi is on, Thibs has made the adjustment that the on ball defender will just overplay his dribble and the help defender with suck up all the oxygen when he gets down hill.

We desperately just need someone on the wing who can both make shots and also has enough gravity that it forces that help defender out 2-3 more steps.

The adjustment is to play Mitchell off ball more and let Garland be the engine. That started to work in the 3rd but then Mitchell started ball stopping and forcing stuff. Donovan needs to be willing to just let Garland ride the hot hand.

I have been one of Allen's biggest defenders, I can't this series he has played like an absolute pussy.

It’s on Mitchell no doubt, but we almost could have faded his horrible game if we could just fucking rebound. 17 offensive rebounds for them to 7 for us. 47/33 rebounding advantage overall. That’s just soft and why we can’t ever sustain runs.
