Game Thread | Knicks playoff series Game #5 | Knicks @ Cavs | April 26, 2023 | 7:00 NBA TV

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Nah, he railed against him pretty heavy all last year. Intentionally chose to not talk about it much this year. And also willing to point out the occasions, where correct decisions were made.

But yeah, I was wrong. Still don’t think he’s as dumb as you think lol but he’s not it, can’t put it all together, and certainly not for this roster.

Can’t be fired quick enough.

That said. Koby(if he’s given the chance) has a lot to correct and a lot to own up to

Some of these guys need to be traded and some need to grow up and be better.
Thank you for coming around we had that mini spat because you were defending him but good lord he got out coached by a country mile this series. That dumbass blitzkrieg scheme the illogically rotations opened up ALoT of peoples eyez.

My bad I misread your post

I think it's at least debatable but yeah this is a deeply flawed roster
No worries. I think we should move to a new coach as well, but I’m just not sure we can roll with the same bigs and expect much difference with how physical the front courts in the East are going to be. Mobley will get stronger, but the rate he does is hard to say. And Allen just got manhandled by Robinson

Fire JBB
Trade Allen
Acquire a big bruiser C that can actually play.
Acquire some shooters.
I’ve been a big I-Hart booster, since he was in Cleveland. He was the back-up big we needed.

Oh come on, their big grabbed 10 offensive rebounds all on effort. Didn’t see that fight from our bigs

It wasn't just effort. The effort and strength and energy helped but we were rotating out of position by design like clockwork.

They played 2.5 months of good basketball. 2.5 months. And he was running Rubio into the ground, so he was bound to get hurt.
That's why it just felt like Gilbert to me. Like he said "go and give that guy an extension". It just seems like his brashness.

Because there was no good reason to give him job security. Everyone knows winning coaches are extended - why jump the gun? If you are playing .600 basketball and are a coach of the year candidate, do you really need a 4-5 year extension?!

What can we get for Mitchell and Allen in a deal? Throw in any of the other dead weight as required to complete the package.

Cavs played worse than I could have imagined in this series. Need more than some minor tweaks in the off season.
This, it was everything we thought could go horrible wrong in the postseason served on a shit platter. We all called it during the year but to see it all come together was appalling.

Unfortunately in the Cavs case this all has nothing to do with heart, determination or motivation. It’s the worse case scenario. It’s coaching and talent. They have no scheme and they miss a lot of shots. Pretty simple really

I have a lot of heart, but I suck at basketball too

we gave our shitty coach a five year guaranteed contract

We have no unencumbered first round picks for the entire rest of this decade

We have three max contracts assuming we want to give one to Mobley

We traded away all our depth and have no way to improve the bench or get a SF outside the MLE

After this performance we’re not going to be able to get shit in exchange for trading Allen

All of this just to look like the worst team in the entire playoffs, with no way to improve

Depressing as fuck
Two 7 footers with only 5 offensive rebounds between them. We have the MLE at our disposal but you start clearing out cap space by trading Allen, letting Cedi, Stevens and Wade walk.
