Maybe you could ask him to shoot better then 5-21

He helped lead the comeback and sunk all three clutch FT’s but he took a back seat in game 5 and then shot 5-21 in game 6
 
Fundamental basketball costs the Heat a trip to the finals! Terrible boxing by Vincent on White! Never even put a body on him…..let him run right past him for the tip in. Like I have said over and over today’s players lack basic fundamentals! And you just know Spostra said “MAKE SURE WE BOX OUT OUR MAN ON THE SHOT”! :(
 
I get Spo's reason for having Strus out there. If you put in someone like Highsmith or someone less experienced, they may foul a Boston shooter that would end the game. Strus got caught ball watching though and let White crash.
 
I wonder if the Heat realized they put time back on the clock.

I don't understand why the Celtics didn't guard the in-bounder. I guess Strus helped deny Tatum but White also would have had a wide-open shot if Smart had wanted to pass him the ball.
 
I'm stressed out if I'm a Heat fan. They had so many chances to close that out. Duncan missed 2 wide open 3s and they let White weasel in for that put back. Inexcusable. Still can't believe this is going to game 7. I appreciate the playoffs games though. We almost went 11 games without playoff basketball if the Heat sweep.

Kinda looked like the plan was for Tatum to play decoy and Smart was supposed to hit White for a corner 3, which is why he was in the air. But Miami swarmed his passing space so Smart shot it.

They’re playing through the rebound and whistle either way.

Just a play that happens often in the course of a game in terms of guys not boxing out well enough.

I don’t think those missed assignment/botched block outs had anything to do with their perception of time left on the clock
 
Duncan Robinson hesitated a bit on those 2 wide open 3s. Kevin Love thinking I’d hit that.
 
I’m taking MIA in game 7 btw.
Better coach, better defined roles.

That said, this is where the Celtics get an opportunity to change that narrative. Don’t want to see them do it though, as you don’t want a team led by two young stars in your conference to grow into championship DNA

Huge game and win for the NBA

Mann I love Coach Spol. That’s a tough loss but what he says is very intelligent. Wish we have a coach like him. I wouldn’t be surprised if Miami wins in game 7.

Love didn't play at all. I was right about Spo not starting him, but I was wrong thinking Spo might still give him spot minutes. I thought he'd get a bit of time in the 3rd quarter at least, but nope.

If our coach(any coach of ours ever) said nothing went wrong in how their defense set up and executed the final possession and that the made tip shot was a result of a lucky/perfect bounce(which is what Spo said), the board would be LIVID.

Spo is a great coach nonetheless and has infinite well earned goodwill in the bank with Miami fans and nba fans in general, but this is only the 4th time in over close to 80 years a team has come back from down 3-0 to even reach a game 7

Miami is DONE! I love Sprostra but the Heat’s body language walking off the court says they are done! I expect a blow out win by Boston in Game 7
