I'm not sure they'll ever see this, but I want to thank the two executives responsable for putting together a roster worthy of watching. Koby & Mike have done a whale of a job putting this team together. It all started with the shrewd move of drafting Garland, even though we already drafted a PG the previous draft. It turned out to be a franchise altering move, as Garland is on his way to multiple all-star selections.

The Cavs haven't had a single 1st pick since James left, & here we are with a core of Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley & Jarrett Allen. Who would've thought we'd have such an amazing team so quickly after James's departure?

The Max Strus acquistion is cherry on top of the cake.

All I have to say is, the Cavs are in good hands & I won't miss a single game now that I upgraded my internet. Go Cavs!

Also, thanks J.B. Bickerstaff for bringing stability in the coaching department. You deserve to have this job & I know you'll learn & get better. Having a coach that is young, to me, is a positive.

Thank you, Mike Gansey & Koby Altman.
And apparently after last night, they even got the G League team humming on all cylinders. Nice to have Bates(possibly a steal of a pick), Brobley, Porter JR, Merrill and Nance all looking like they could be useful players. Coaching at the G league seems top notch(Brobley development) and having the Summer League team playing so cohesive

As impatient as I am, Koby has done a good job "stocking the shelves" of quality players who will be able to add depth to a top heavy and expensive team in a couple years.

CPJ, Travers, Bates, iMobley, Diop can all contribute on cheap deals when DG, Evan and Don are all playing on MAX deals, and JA is still making $20M.

That foresight is very Andrew Berry-esque.

For clarification purposes:

Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI)

Now, with the newly branded OVI offense, Ohio law has removed the “motorized” component of this offense. This is the most expansive of terms used by Ohio to date for the offense of drunk driving. When a jury is given the definition of the offense they are deliberating, there is much less for them to have to question or debate, making a prosecutor’s chance of conviction greater than in previous iterations of this offense.

What Is an OVI in Ohio Law?

You can learn how Ohio defines an OVI offense in Ohio Revised Code Section 4511.19. State law prohibits the operation of any vehicle, streetcar, or trackless trolley if the operator is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or both.

The code provides exhaustive details on the parameters of alcohol or drug concentration in an individual’s blood, blood serum/plasma, breath, or urine that constitute an OVI. This section also details the charges associated with OVI offenses (first-degree misdemeanor), as well as the associated penalties for an OVI offense in any of various circumstances. A first OVI conviction brings mandatory penalties, including:

  • Jail term of three days
  • Fines up to $1,075
  • License suspension for as long as three year
