Ex Indians update

I miss Franmil too. I'll never understand how a guy that had legitimate success in MLB can lose it so fast. I hope he figures it out and gets back, - Out of baseball at 28 years old.

He was a one trick pony and guys like him do make comebacks, just a question mark can he learn to take walks and fix his holes?

Francisco Mejia, the toy catcher and former # 1 prospect in the Indians system.. has signed with the Angels.. good for him..

Was he as good of a prospect as Bo at one time? I seem to remember he was a top 100 or even top 50 prospect at one time

Let's you know just how good those ratings and rating systems are... I was standing behind the batting cage when his group came to the cage for their group's turn.. I knew he was small (he is VERY small).. but he was also weak.. A tiny little guy who was taking his whacks while the batting practice pitcher was knocking the bat out of his hands.. smh.. When he was sent away.. that was clearly addition by subtraction..

Mejia was actually rated very high at one point, top 15ish prospect in all of baseball.

Looks like Zach Plesac has found himself a chance to pitch in the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and Souther California system.. Best guess.. NRI/Split with a spring training invite.. Who knows.. maybe he'll find some maturity.. there was nothing physically wrong with his arm, body or move to first base...

It's a major league deal... probably a 1-2 million type with incentives...

Has anyone heard anything regarding Trevor Bauer?

He's had a couple of "X's" showing his readiness for pitching and a "thinly veiled" comment about not being given much of a chance to pursue his passion for pitching.. No one seems to be willing to sign him.. at present or no second chances for a guy who likes it rough..

Reyes could be a very good DH if he stays disciplined in his approach. When he was staying on the ball and hitting opposite field he was a very good hitter, it just didn't last long.
