A 7 year peak posting an .820 OPS and 120 OPS+ is something to be appreciated, especially when it came during a stretch that has seen offensive production fall off a cliff.

A fan base that looks lovingly back at the likes of Baerga and Lofton and Sandy should do the same for Carlos and his time here, but they won’t.

That's fair! You shouldn't ever be a fan of the Braves since they have a guy, who is still in the league, who was charged twice with domestic violence... Bauer was never charged, so I just wish they kept it consistent honestly.

I can tell he easily gets under people's skin so I doubt very many people would actually like him, but he is blacklisted yet other players who did worse are still playing... All I ask is be fair in a sense. You wouldn't sign any of them anyways but I feel like Bauer should get another chance since the other guys did.
