Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Talented Mr Ripley certainly has to be one

What’s the other that comes to mind? Saltburn was worth the watch for sure… just narrowly missed the mark with a few decisions that stopped it from going from a “good” film to a “great” one. Beautifully shot… the cinematography was stunning even with the 4:3 which ended up not bothering me.

Here are the ones I was thinking.
the two I was thinking was the Talented Mr Ripley and the mini series Brideshead revisited. A lot of shots were taken almost exactly from Brideshead revisited.

I watched Self Reliance which is a new Hulu movie by Jake Johnson (from the tv show New Girl). He starred and directed it. I thought it was one of the better movies I've seen from a streaming service in a while. It would have been an indie movie that got a lot of buzz before they all ended up on streaming services.

Tough year for movies

None of the nominees for best picture are good.

Poor things should probably win it

Is it time for a new Police Academy movie? Steve Guttenberg could be the commandant

Just watched Barbie again.

I’d rank it in the top 100 movies of all time.

Top notch social commentary. Terrific cinematography. Great acting.

Agree with this. Def one of the best movies recently. Hope it sweeps the awards it deserves
