WILD CARD ROUND: Browns @ Texans 4:30 EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
All this game did is further prove the importance of getting Watson back to some semblance of a successful QB..

Defense this, defense that but the teams that win in the playoffs have the best quarterbacks, and that's who won today..

Good coaches adapt and adjust, and I trust Schwartz has the capacity to do so this off-season..

There will be some changes made this off-season but the biggest gain will be health..

Overall, this is still a good football team on the upward trajectory... Restock the defensive line, add some speed on offense and get healthy..

I trust Nick Chubb as much as about anyone in the league to come back full strength

Remember that the Chubb replacements were rushing behind mostly backup OL

I’m not against acquiring another RB but I think the return of all the OL and the cheaper addition of a legit quality run blocking TE could be enough to have our run game be elite in 2024
Could be, but after this year I'm anticipating injuries. I don't want Ford to be our starting RB under any circumstances.

I feel it's hard to justify going out to get another RB unless we are starting a discussion on replacing Chubb.

Ford is JAG, his play is only as good as our offensive line's run blocking. Your second string RB is just not going to deliver consistently when he is the primary back and running behind a patch work offensive line.

Rather would upgrade OL, WR, and TE than spend anything more than a 5th round pick on a back.

How many teams in the NfL can employ a RB2 who they’d feel really good about as their RB1? Its tricky.

I wouldn’t be opposed to Chubb, Hunt, and Strong.

I also think those holes will be bigger once the OL is back to full strength.

True, not many. I'm just trying to be realistic with Chubb's injury. It's a brutal injury for any RB, especially at his age. We need a contingency plan and Ford/Hunt ain't it.
