2023-24 Season | Game #58 | Cavs @ Bulls | Feb. 28, 2024 | 8:00 p.m.

Let the fucking game end before someone gets hurt

More than one thing can be true at once… getting this badly outrebounded can be why we lost. Donovan’s MIA act and missed FT can be why. Allen’s foul up 3 can be.

And JB can continuously prove to us just how fucking awful someone can be at a job and keep their employment.

We are going to end up 3rd and draw Philly, Miami or NYK and be in an absolute shit ton of trouble.

“I don’t think the Cavs are in a great place right now…they’re having trouble with their lineups,” - @WindhorstESPN on the Cavs since the All-Star break.

This is all the coach. He’s an idiot

Don’t think JB was the primary or even secondary reason they lost this one.

Allen got punked all night long. It’s not on the coach that the team got out rebounded as badly as they did. He was bitch made from the jump.

He played 9 guys. I know Merrill wasn’t one of them so facts don’t matter to some of y’all, but 9 guys played 10 or more minutes.

Mitchell was extremely passive for most of the game and Strus came back to earth.

Free throw shooting is a glaring problem over the last week. Every single player has looked poor at the line. Donovan does his job and they’re up 4 with 12 seconds left.

Just don’t see this being a “fire JB” game. The players need to play better.
Because regardless of all of this, execution and in game management and rotations continue to be a disaster. Make a Merrill joke all you want but the guy was a catalyst when Mobley and Garland went out. You know how Miami finds the diamonds in the rough they find? By playing these kind of damn guys. JB is so damn over his head it’s ridiculous he can’t get out of his own way even when things are going good. This team more often than not wins IN SPITE of him

I disagree. Second night of a back to back with half the team hung over and JBB plays Mitchell and Garland damn near 50 minutes. Okoro needed more minutes. Wade needed more minutes. Merrill needed ANY minutes. Don't run your players into the ground then expect them to perform in double OT. How can you not see that?

Why is Allen in the game defending on the foul? You had better options in Wade and Okoro.

Not calling a timeout on the final shot of OT1?

Not playing the 5 that got you back in front by 10

Shortening the rotation

The coach was absolutely the reason they lost.

Yeah, I called the Allen thing out in real time. Sure, I think that was a mistake. I don’t think it’s the main reason the Cavs lost the game.

What is “shortening the rotation” referring to? The bench got more run tonight than last night. Y’all are saying these things but the facts don’t actually support them. I know you want to see Merrill play, but at whose expense?

You think the Cavs should have closed the game with Okoro and Wade? Cmon man. The second unit did its job, but that doesn’t mean you leave them in the whole quarter.

Not calling the timeout was strange, but we watched them turn the ball over on an ATO last night. It’s not some horrible offense to let Mitchell run the offense for a game winner in a tie game.
