Garland is a really good shooter who can get hot and get in the flow.

He is not a floor general and he doesn't read the game well. He's not a coach on the floor, if you will.

I don't know how much evidence people need before realizing this.

How many of LeVert's assists were off of made 3 pointers by Garland?

How many more assists would Garland have gotten if Niang could hit a shot, or if I. Mobley could hit a shot, or if Okoro wasn't passing up open looks, or if Allen had grabbed that pass?

Garland can't pass to himself.

are we watching the same thing? okoro was out of bounds before the pass and that pass to allen was too hot.

stop making excuses for a max player crumbling in late game situations
 
The lob pass to Allen was JAs fault 100%. It was a perfect pass he just f*cked it up. But the pass to Okoro was a panic pass . The ball literally helped lead Okoro out of bounds. Just in general he barely even attempted a shot when we needed him to be aggressive. Just a whole bunch of pointless dribbling where he couldn’t decide if he was gonna shoot or pass it with 3 seconds left on the shot clock to guys not in a scoring position

It's reasonable to assign some blame to both players I guess, that was a very hot pass from not that far away, if you want to argue JA should have caught it anyways then yeah sure.

But it was a risky pass p much almost by definition because JA could not handle it...

And this isn't the first time DG has tried that lob late in the game...and last time it didn't work any better either

Without the “Max Player” this game is a blowout. Have a nice night.

If he gives the ball up, he is going to be handed it right back.
 
Someone has to have a screen grab of the oop. I watched it twice and it looked like Allen had to stretch with one arm behind him just to get a piece of it. You can argue if he should have done better with it, but calling it a perfect pass is just bullshit unless I was having hallucinations.
