2023-24 Season | Game #65 | Suns @ Cavs | March 11, 2024 | 7:30 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
After chilling on the home loss, the Suns just needed the game more and you seen why. They milked favorable matchups and abused Niang. I said day one of signing the guy is nowhere near Kevin Love's corpse, he'll be much worse in the playoffs and quite frankly get run off the floor. Don't get me wrong, you NEED vets like Niang during 82 games, just don't need to play him after if you plan on winning playoff games. His quick -7 in a 3 minute spurt could be a huge reason why.

Back to the Suns, they played as if it was a playoff game because they need to. Currently holding the 6th spot and avoiding the play in, getting healthy again and every game matters in that wild wild west bracket.

Ok so how is that a GARLAND problem which so many posters seem to point to

Lol, it's up to the coach to put the player in the best position to succeed and adjust the game plan if he sees one player being targeted. But Garland did commit too many turnovers and he barely scored in the second half. He wasn't the biggest problem and was the reason we had a lead in the first place. But it's also fair to put some blame on him considering he's meant to be an allstar point guard. That comes with a higher level of scrutiny. As does being a coach of a good team regardless of injuries. Especially if that team went up 18 points and had that lead erased in about 5 minutes.

Erasing deficits is something the Suns do well. Garland finally has a + game, yet you complain. The so called turnovers were not quite what they seemed either. Most were involved with Niang who was abysmal or Allen, who was mediocrity in context. The creators laid the foundation, the shooters and primary big refused to seal the deal.

I went through and looked at the play-by-play on ESPN. It was 1.

This is correct.

8 assists for Caris went to cutters going towards the rim, I just checked the play by play myself.
