Round 2 Game 1 | Cavs vs. Celtics | May 1, 2010 | 8:00 EST TNT

we can just kill kenny smith?

Am I the only one not (that) worried? OK, so our defense was pretty spotty, but we are getting a ton of lay-ups on offense. How many lay-ups did AJ/LeBron/Shaq miss? At least 7 or 8. If we make those, we are up despite how horribly we played. Honestly probably our worst half of the season, and we are only down 11 because Rondo is 6/6 from the line, Mo missed a free throw, and Rondo hit a three.

LeBron's drive at the end was pretty encouraging. I expect him to assert himself in the 2nd half.

Even if we lost this game, I wouldn't be worried. The Celtics have always been a team that jumps out of the gate early. They will get worse (and we will get better) as the series goes on...

Like I said Chuck, we gotta speed it up. We're definitely tenative

For all the clamoring about Jamison getting "destroyed" by Garnett.

Garnett has taken 5 shots in an isolation situation with Jamison, and only made two of them.

Is it Jamison's fault that Paul Pierce has outworked Bron and Jamario Moon for two OREB's off of his misses or that Perkins has gotten an OREB off of his miss? Is it Jamison's fault that LeBron and Delonte have been caught :jerkoff: thus leading to easy layups?

clearly thats why the cavs have one the best home records in teh NBA..

Problem with being good is that your tickets get expensive and can only be afforded by upper class people that treat it like a social event. that's why you never really see people in the lower bowl up and cheering like mad. it's usually the dudes up top in loud ville.

I always like to see a game in which LeBron does not settle and drives repeatedly to the basket.

Just not like this, when he seems to have little choice. :(

But that is no excuse for almost all of his teammates to hibernate.

We need to take Mo out. He can't guard anyone on the floor, and this is a defencive series.

I'm on the trade Mo bandwagon after the season no matter what the outcome. The dude's inconsistent offense doesn't make up for his consistent poor defense.

+1 very good point

Also his play deteriorates in the playoffs. He just is not a playoff performer.

yeah...MB need to put Lebron on Rondon and Moon on Pierce...

Can somebody punch kenny in the mouth please?

Hahaha

Does NO ONE else have this theory that Lebron is so good, he's intentionally not going off so people say "hey, that injury is for real!"... then in the 2nd half he'll just take over and Cavs win by 10, Lebron 40/10/10. He is the hero.

No.

You're getting close to trolling so go somewhere else for the rest of the game.

Will this season go into the history books as "The Elbow" ?

Hope not.
