Round 2 Game 1 | Cavs vs. Celtics | May 1, 2010 | 8:00 EST TNT

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
i need to take a quick shower to remove a dirt of bad luck on my body.

Can't let them into the paint like that.

I want to see blood. I want to see Celtic players sprawling every time they attempt to get inside. I want Rondo to feel so much pain that he won't even bother to take shots after today's game.

Break their fucking faces.

Chuck's right: Key is shutting down Rondo's penetration in the 2nd half (and the series).

If Lebron is going to play this way, we are screwed. He is playing scared, which leads me to wonder how serious his injury really is.

i dont know what's worse bron's elbow or our perimeter defense. the cavs look awful.

Hahaha

Does NO ONE else have this theory that Lebron is so good, he's intentionally not going off so people say "hey, that injury is for real!"... then in the 2nd half he'll just take over and Cavs win by 10, Lebron 40/10/10. He is the hero.

Do you feel the same way about Kobe's finger injury?

The concern is NOT one game. It's the mounting injuries.

AV's bruised knee is killing him. LeBron is playing 75% left handed. Shaq is having trouble gripping the ball for simple dunks.

We may well lose this one. But how do we heal up in this short a window?

Even Rivers sees that he can go down low at will. This is NOTHING like the game we came back. In that game, Boston was pushing it every possession. This time, we are being whacked in the paint, and lack the size to deal with it.

Holy shit with the Mo trade talks. Get a grip. You guys do this once a week. Wait till Mo hits some huge 3's in the second half and everyone declares him "LeBron's Pippen"...

For all the clamoring about Jamison getting "destroyed" by Garnett.

Garnett has taken 5 shots in an isolation situation with Jamison, and only made two of them.

Is it Jamison's fault that Paul Pierce has outworked Bron and Jamario Moon for two OREB's off of his misses or that Perkins has gotten an OREB off of his miss? Is it Jamison's fault that LeBron and Delonte have been caught :jerkoff: thus leading to easy layups?

I'm worried about some of the misses, though. KG missed some easy shots in the paint with Antawn on him. He's already got the length and now it looks like he's getting the positioning. I hope Jamison can hold his own, because one mismatch is enough.

Do not engage with imadogg on this. We have bigger things to wory about.

3 off-days between Game 2 and Game 3. But the Cavs can't blow these early games...

Lebron casts such a huge shadow over the team, to the point where a lot of these guys can't function on either end of the court w/out their leader. It's very strange, but we've seen it too many times to count... When Lebron is tentative, most of the team is tentative too. When he lacks intensity, they do too. There's sometimes an outlier or two in a game (e.g. Moon, West, AV), but for better or worse the whole team is spiritually and emotionally tied to Lebron.

This game is easily winnable, but it's going to take "usual Lebron," not the tentative shell of himself we've seen in the first half. I hope this is just Lebron doubting himself a little and not indicative of an injury situation more serious than the team is letting on. The Celtics one hope is that injury...

AVs subpar play, whether due to injury, is also something we haven't seen until the last 4-5 games.

Jamison is not getting outworked, but KG can still pretty much get what he wants on him. Unfortunately we can't switch that matchup when Jamison is on the floor assuming Perkins is also on the floor with KG. Andy needs more playing time because our defense and rebounding needs help. If Shaq's not going to be active sit his ass.

I bet anybody that Mike Brown starts off with putting Parker on Rondo and Mo and Allen. If Rondo is still doing his thing then that's when Lebron guards him.

Aleast Celtics are in foul trouble, Sheed 3fls, Big Baby 4 fls, Pierce 3fls
