Skip and some girl (I think her name is Michelle? black girl that looks like she has some other ethnicity as well, possibly) bantered about two plays from the Cavs game last night.

1. The called foul on MP that gave LeBron those two final FT's.

Both said it should not have been a call, and I agree with that completely, LeBron can't full out run into someone, especially with his elbow up. We got a break there. (I was hoping they'd bring up Howard's screen as well)

2. The attempted ally-oop to Howard and no call on Andy.

Skip - 0% problem with the no call, both big guys battled for position, both initiated contact.

Girl who I think is named Michelle - paraphrased - usually I'd agree with you Skip, but this had to be a foul on Varejao. I mean he full-out tackled him.

Really? That's how a non-objective analyst feels? That Andy full-out tackled Dwight Howard?

I hate that LeBron gets it, but it is what it is and nothing can be done about it from our standpoint - but Dwight, welcome to star treatment from ESPN.

*EDIT- Step your game up.*

I won't even watch that shit after goin down 3-1. All I'm focused on is Game 5, and I'm sure the Cavs are, too. Not too sure about the coaching staff, though.

Her name is Jamelle Hill, I think.

And she is an idiot. Skip was actually right on this, for once.

Good thing they're completely unbiased and objective and they mentioned everything, including Dwight tackling Delonte and Dwight setting the most blatant illegal pick in the last 30 years..

oh wait.

Who side are you on? Use quotations so i know when they are saying something, and your saying something.

Her name is Jamelle Hill, and she used to be a writer for the ORLANDO Sentinel.

Explains a lot, doesn't it?

This is why I'm not watching ESPN or any other sports show after a Cavs loss. They just add fuel to the fire.

Should've been a foul on Howard, he dragged Andy down. But obiously they wouldn't call it that way.

Tripping is an automatic call in the NBA. It's not a judgment call. That's the way the league has told the officials to call it. If two players get their feet tangled up and the guy with the ball goes to the ground, it's an automatic foul.

So anyone saying LeBron got a gift from the officials on the last play in regulation flat out doesn't understand the rule book. That clearly goes for the two morons on 1st and 10.

Pietrus just tries to fall down again like he did on game one to obstruct the rhythm and angle of Bron to the rim.

*sigh* And I said I was avoiding all sports media like the plague for this very reason but couldn't resist this thread's siren song.

Nothing to see here folks. *walks away briskly*

If anything should have been called, it should have been an offensive foul. Watch the replay and look at Howard push Andy's hand down before he jumps for the lob. I agree a no call was the right call though.

I don't know whether it's fair for me to say that Jamelle Hill is terrible at her job or not. I know she and Skip are there to get people talking.

But concerning the Cavs or any other NBA team, I've pretty much disagreed with everything I've ever heard her say. She has the right to her opinions, but I don't know how she makes a living talking like an idiot. Well, I'm sure she looks to Skip Bayless for guidance.
