2007 NBA Draft

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How my draft compared to others: (#'s correct)

SI.com = 6
Chad Ford = 11
NBADraft.net = 10
Draft Express = 9

Me = 7

Not bad for one mock and no sources... :)

McRoberts and Taurean Green still on board...really don't like either of them but it would be nice if Ferry found a way into the 2nd round and got one of them.

It is a tad frustrating waiting for what might be nothing.

Well, the Bobcats did take Jared Dudley.. The Bobcats were talked about as being a team the Cavs were considering their pick... Perhaps Dudley was picked for the Cavs ??
I was thinking the same thing when they picked him. I began furiously refreshing espn.com and other sites, waiting to see the post confirmation of the trade. But it never came. :( At this point I'm left hoping that the trade was in fact made, but no one knows about it.

Or maybe we'll get another Gibson in round 2?

Remind anyone else of the trade deadline? This place was on fire that night.... and all for nothing.

So we have a few teams that Ferry has connections with at the top having multiple picks and here we sit with our ____ in our hands.
Do you think if we all throw in and get enough money we can convince W&G to walk up to Ferry and chuck him in the nuts? :dunno:

I'm pretty wet in the chaps as you can imagine..

Kobe finally got the help he was looking for..

I never actually knew how Sun Yue's name was pronounced..

Soon Yooah I think

I hate to say it, Pip, but I don't see stardom when I look at Sun...:(

Guess the talk of the Cavs wanting to get back in the draft was just a bunch of BS. There appeared to be plenty of opportunities but they didn't take advantage of them.
After the first 10 picks into the 2nd round it no longer made much sense to try to get a pick. There was nothing left to go for.

Not the end of the world but a little frustrating when there were chnaces to get a pick and get a good prospect.
Hopefully the Cavs won't sit on their hands when the offseason gets started next week. It needs to be more than Pollard and Wesley level additions this summer.

Look harder..:chuckles:

Good to see Ferry was asleep during the draft.

Apparently the Suns sold their pick for $3mil... I would've loved to see us do that. :(

Well, Charlotte did trade their other pick, so it could still happen. Jordan wants players ready to play now and I'm not sure what we would trade them that works out better than just buying that Suns pick would have. I'm a bit surprised we didn't do that.

I guess it's up to Shannon Brown to give us a first round draft pick impact this year. It's not much fun watching everyone else get better, though. What's our status of draft picks going forward. Do we have any more future picks, first or second round, traded away, or do we now have all of our picks moving forward?

Looks like Shannon Brown is our #1 pick this year.

I believe we still owe a second rounder.

We do own all our 1st rounders now.
