But if the Cavs like one higher than the other then they should. To me, moving the 24th means nothing. That should not be the deal breaker, if Beal is the guy they really want.
I mean, the Cavs are likely to package both second round picks for a late first anyways. It's no real loss.
I would definitely move up to grab Beal. I've said for awhile I thought he was the clear number 2 guy in the draft.
Nothing against MKG, I'd be fine drafting him, but I much rather have Beal.
the board can't and shouldn't cater to you, sry bro. Please stop quoting this goof's posts or information. Those of us who have his account(s) on ignore would appreciate it.
yes but what if they think one (beal, obv) is going to be the noticeably better player and better fit with the cavs? why should a pick that in all likelihood will turn into a role player at best stand in the way of them acquiring said player?I just don't see the point of moving the 24th pick when the Cavs are likely to get one of Beal or MKG. I can't imagine both players getting picked before the 4-spot.
This is just me throwing something out there, and I'm not even sure it would be that great of an idea. But just imagine the possibile fun this team could be if it took MKG at 4 and then moved up into the top 10 and took Rivers. Irving, Rivers, and MKG running around the perimiter. That would be a crazy fun team to watch.
just curious but why is this only if the cavs move up for beal?If we do make the move up for Beal, then the ideal situation for me would definitely be the rumored GSW trade. Get #7 and snag Drummond to give us a core of Irving, Beal, Thompson, and Drummond. That would be straight nasty.
honestly no.Does anyone think that Dallas would be willing to give up their pick( I believe it is 17) for our 2nd round picks since they are looking to make room to try and sign D-Will and possibly even try and pick up Dwight Howard?
you really think he's an "almost surefire bust" no matter where he lands?Eh, I have to honestly say I'm not all that thrilled with the prospect of moving Varejao and the whatever else just in order to get Drummond. Drummond just seems like an almost surefire bust.
