Cool.I'll just go with this:
And OSU's MOV ishigher, even with a lossI'll just go with this:
Not Bama. But everyone else..I think I hate FSU more than any SEC team.
And OSU's MOV ishigher, even with a loss
If that was the case, FSU would not be behind OregonI think the committee would consider which team's loss is worse (assuming FSU loses) before they'd get to looking at MOV, but we can agree to disagree.
I think everyone respects Wisconsin as a program more than Nebraska, so soundly beating them in the championship is probably the more impactful win.
There's no way beating a 2 loss Wisconsin (with a loss coming to Northwestern) looks better than beating a 1 loss Nebraska whose only loss was at Michigan State. No way.
Today was fucking killer. GotI mean look at this:
Miss State v Vanderbilt
Oregon v Colorado
FSU v Boston College
Bama v Western Carolina
ASU v Washington State
Baylor v Oklahoma State
Ohio State v Indiana
Just garbage.
What stings is that the games were so close. The TCU-Kansas, Bama-Miss St. and Miami-FSU games were decided by a combined 13 pts. If all 3 of those games go the other way, OSU controls its own destiny, IMO.Today was fucking killer. Got
No help
Sort of agree but I don't think the gap is as large as some may think.
1) Wisconsin has been getting better as the season has gone on. In the last four games they have outscored their opponents by 135 points combined. If we can say OSU is getting so much better, then you can't ignore the same argument for Wisconsin.
2) They blew out Nebraska. If they squeaked one out 28-27, it wouldn't be as good. But beating them by 5 touchdowns should help the cause.
But I do agree about us needing some chaos. Won't be happening next week.
All the teams playing ahead of us, including us, have garbage match-ups.
I'm not saying beating Wisconsin won't be considered a good win, but we're 8th so we need as much help as possible right? Now which scenario would have given us the greatest benefit? I don't think there is any question it would have been Nebraska winning this game and then winning out. Wins over Miami, Wisconsin and then Minnesota with only one loss at Michigan State. That looks like a half-way decent team to play in the title game.
