I have to think this is why we are playing poorly. Cardale looks terrible, Barrett looks worse. The offensive line may as well not be playing they look so poor. Elliot lacks the burst he had last week (although he does look good). At least the defense looks fantastic.
I do think your point holds credence though. Not that I think Barrett has been any better but Cardale is missing throws he needs to make. In my mind Cardale deserves to be the starter; however, whoever ends up starting needs to do a much better job putting the ball in the right places. JT is too reliant on the short-medium game and a good team could take massive advantage of that whereas Cardale overthrows receivers and doesn't necessarily progress through reads at the necessary pace.
