The starting pitching is there. The front office has to find a way to support them with top notch defense and a better hitting team next year. Too much pitching talent to wait around 2-3 years for the combo of the Swisher/Bourne deals clearing and waiting for Lindor/Urshela/Zimmer/Frazier Hradley to be big league ready hitters. Obviously still develop those guys but they have got to find a way to put forward a legitimate offensive ball club next year
Just sell it to @cavsdan. Problem solved.Hire Dombrowski as President of Baseball Operations. It would take a Brinks truck full of cash to hire him but we could still keep our current organizational structure in place-- which I think is pretty decent. Dombrowski rarely ever loses a trade and convinced Mike Ilitch to spend money like never before-- he's certainly not afraid to make a splash. It will never happen but it'd sure be interesting if it did. It'd be fun if Dolan told his front office people to do whatever it takes to make baseball exciting again in Cleveland just like Ilitch did in Detroit.....
Simon IIOffense still stinking up the place. Just end this Angels, please.
Nasty.One down!
