Did you catch wind we signed him or something?Just dropping into say that Francisco Lindor will likely wear an Indians hat when he's inducted into the Hall of Fame.
So in addition to his future years of service, there is probably that as well.

Oh.No, was just thinking about his eventual induction into Cooperstown.
With the way Ramirez is hitting, I'd much rather see him up in the leadoff spot. My ideal line-up would be:
- Kip
- Lindy
- Smooth
- EE (start hitting)
- JRam
- Santana
- Chiz
- Perez
- Almonte
I'm sick of hearing about Santana being in a contract year. Well then, start hitting with 1 less at bat (and earn your supposed next big contract) and get on base for the bottom/turn of the order.
Kip's #s are not that great batting beyond #4, so I see him going back to leading off (at least when all is said and done).
There's a lot you can do with the line-up, but I think having Santana at #1 is not the way to go. I'd really like to see JRam get up in 1-3, but it would mean Smooth or Kip at 5 (I might be open to Smooth at 5, but I don't think Tito rocks the boat that way).
The Cleveland Indians tried to extend the contract of shortstop Francisco Lindor before Opening Day, but not even dangling what one source said was a package around $100 million did the trick.
David Meter, the agent for Lindor, said about the Indians’ failed attempt at an extension, “It’s just one of those things we’ll look at on a year-by-year basis. I don’t think it’s very productive to draw a line in the sand.”
They will put his bust next to Sizemore's.Just dropping into say that Francisco Lindor will likely wear an Indians hat when he's inducted into the Hall of Fame.

This doesn't mean we won't sign him to an extension.Damn. Well, least we have him for a while.
This doesn't mean we won't sign him to an extension.
Sure, but it's not great news.
I'm not all that worried about it, his agent is just waiting since they feel he can cash in for a lot more if they wait.
And you're sure that money will come from the Indians?
