How does that work? I feel like that would be a NCAA violation since they’re petty like that.
Well we would definitely not want to compromise the spirit of amateurism in having them accept money for his services.
He's even entitled to work with an agent to negotiate his deal while still maintaining his amateurism in the eyes of the NCAA, and he's been pretty widely connected to Scott Boras.
Not sure if he can utilize the Boras Corp to help him negotiate a deal, without ever signing with him, then cutting ties before resuming the football career as an amateur.
Not exactly sure to what lengths the agent can be in business with the player, and they certainly can't have any additional benefits which extend beyond the negotiation of this deal.
